僕がもし福島で農家をやっていたとしたら、できるだけその土地から外に出たくはない。

否応無しに生活を変えなければならなくなったとしても、それで他の土地にすぐ引っ越せるほどタフになれない。地元で仕事をして、生活をしたい。農協が買ってくれる限りは、作物を作る。それしか自分にはできない。そして地元が復興するために身を捧げたい。それが正義だっただろう。


僕にもし妊娠中の妻がいたら、万が一のことを考えて、できるだけ放射能から遠ざけたい。貯金の許す限り、彼女を遠くへ逃がしたろう。国産のものはすべて疑い、徹底的に排除する。輸入品という札がついていても信じず、全てをガイガーカウンターで測るだろう。それが正義だ。



この二つの正義は、同じ国のなかにあってさえ、対立する。
